Nik's full name is unknown. Nik has blue eyes which glow faintly, unless
he
is angry, where they will glow a bright red. He always wears a black cloak
with silver markings which he uses to
conceal his weapons of preference -
magical throwing daggers. Nik wears light black armour beneath his cloak. He
has
psychic abilities which allow him to communicate with his familiar, and
he can learn to use a fallen enemy or a friend's
weapon with his powers,
although his ability with them will be crude. He has telekinetic abilities
which are too weak
for battle purposes, but can be used for some things
(stealing jail cell keys, for instance). He rarely if ever speaks,
but can
'imprint' his thoughts into others minds', giving them an idea of what he is
thinking. Little is known of his
past, and he has difficulty trusting
others.
Special traits: Psychic abilities (limits mentioned above), magic related
to
healing (only those close to him [like his familiar] or himself) and magic
related to the empowering of his throwing
daggers.
Marital status: Unknown
Familiar: Miniature (~20 pounds) female black and silver dragon. She can
communicate
only with Nik, psychically. Sometimes she is mysteriously hidden
within Nik's cloak (perhaps with concealing magic). Her
ability to travel
away from him is hampered by a permanent mental link. If she travels further
than a mile away, they
both feel discomfort. Pain will occur past 10 miles,
and beyond that death is possible from severing of the mental link.
Her name
is known only to Nik.
